The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is back, and Pingle Studio helped bring it to a new generation of players.
We’re happy to share that our team worked with Aspyr on The Lord of the Rings: War in the North – Legacy Edition, bringing the 2011 action RPG to modern platforms.
As part of the project, Pingle Studio helped port the game from its original 2008–2011 custom engine to Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Steam Deck, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
Working with a game that has this much history, and with The Lord of the Rings universe in particular, made this one a special project for our team.
